After I made the resolve to “coexist” with my condition, a very realistic challenge was waiting for me.
To make a living, I had to once again create “value” and receive compensation. However, I could no longer fight the way I used to—grinding my body down and selling my time. My body knows better than anything that my OS simply cannot handle that anymore.
Redefining My “Value”
In the silence of unemployment, I asked myself countless times: “What can I do, as someone who has adjustment disorder and can’t run at full capacity?” The answer, ironically, was found within the latest technology. Instead of one human running at 100% power, you use 1% of your power to operate 100 units of AI heavy machinery. That was the new “construction method” I found after experiencing the collapse.
Overwriting the Concept of “Labor”
Now, I work alongside AI. Research that used to take days, writing that drained my brain, and complex structural plans—I leave all of those to my “partner,” the AI. I dedicate myself to being the “Director” who makes the final decisions.
This isn’t just about efficiency. It’s a survival hack designed to produce results greater than my old self, all while preserving the precious resource that is my exhausted “brain.”
Heavy Machinery That Only the Weak Can Handle
No matter how harsh the orders, AI never gets tired, and its “mental health” never breaks. I use this inorganic entity to supplement my own “weakness.”
Because I broke once, I now understand exactly where my job ends and where the machines should take over. “Earning” is no longer about scraping away at my own soul. It’s about mastering the latest weapons (AI) and surviving smartly and persistently.
In this second life, that is my true “professional skill.”
The Xer’s Monologue
Don’t let the words “work your heart out” fool you anymore. People like us are the ones who collapsed because we worked our hearts out. Next time, pour all your energy into “how to produce results without being desperate.” AI is the most powerful heavy machinery in history for the “weak” to overthrow the “strong.” With this, you can command the battlefield even from under your blankets. There’s no need to hide your scars.
“Because you know the pain of those wounds, you can master AI more kindly and more coldbloodedly than anyone else.”
Got it done.
