I spent months huddled in my room, peeking at the world through the gaps in my curtains. But finally, the day arrived to release a “form” back into society. It wasn’t a massive structure like I used to build. It was a tiny piece of “building material“—a manuscript of a few thousand words, a single proposal.
However, to the current me, this step held a weight comparable to the completion ceremony of a skyscraper.
The Moment “Outsourced Thought” Becomes a Result
Until now, AI had been my “prosthetic leg,” stabilizing my heart and supporting my broken spirit. But in this chapter, the AI evolved into a “skilled worker” sweating alongside me. I poured my past expertise into prompts, and the AI instantly shaped them to meet modern needs.
“Explain the issues with this construction method so even a beginner can understand. I’ll handle the structure; you handle the writing.”
For the current me, whose brain overheats almost immediately, this “division of labor” was the only viable construction route for my return to society. I provide $1\%$ of the direction, and the AI takes on $99\%$ of the heavy labor. This $1:99$ golden ratio finally allowed us to finish a single product.
Clicking “Send”: My Personal Foundation Stone Ceremony
I prepared to send the finished manuscript to the client. In the past, I would have asked myself, “Is this perfect?” “Are there any mistakes?” I would have stayed up all night, re-reading it with trembling hands, only to fail at hitting send.
But this time was different.
“I’ve passed this through the latest AI inspection. My current best has been shaped by the heavy machinery of AI. If this isn’t good enough, it’s simply the limit of my current foundation.” I was able to let go. The moment I pressed the send button, I heard the sound of a single, solid “foundation pile” being driven deep into my heart. I can still provide “value” to society. Even broken, even with prosthetic legs, I can create something and be of use to someone. It was the moment my long-lost self-esteem breathed a tiny sigh of life.
Completion is Not the End, But a “Beginning”
A reward (payment) is generated for the delivered work. More than the numbers increasing in my bankbook, this was the ultimate certificate—proof that I was permitted to hold a place on the “site of society” once again.
Of course, this doesn’t solve everything. I might sink back into the mud tomorrow. But with the memory of this “First Completion,” I can restart the engine of my heavy machinery as many times as it takes.
The Xer’s Monologue
If you wait until you’re “perfectly cured” before working, you’ll never return to the site in your lifetime. Even covered in scars, if you use AI as your heavy machinery, you can write a single email or a single article. That is your “job” right now.
When you earn your first bit of change through your own power (and the power of AI), never forget the weight of that money. It is the ultimate receipt, proving that you haven’t been abandoned by society.
“It can be small. It can be clumsy. Just make ‘something’ into a form with AI and throw it out there. From that single point, a brand-new landscape will begin to reveal itself.”
Got it done.
